Children’s art workshops take place on weekends and the school holidays and can be booked by any funded community organisation or charity. The format will depend on the size of your group but will normally consist of: - 1-4 activities that are suited to ages from 4-18 yrs old - all materials and equipment provided - activities can be for children’s parents/carers to join in with too - adjustments can be made for children and young people with SEND and neuro-diversities

Arts for health projects can be booked for groups who wish to experience the health and well-being benefits of creativity and art. Sessions are planned with the group’s goals in mind and their skill level, even if there is a varied skill level. It maybe your group would like to have a go at art activities in order to: - explore the benefits of mindfulness - create art from nature be working outdoors and indoors - find out how art can help bring a greater awareness of the self - use art and creativity as a vehicle for exploring what we would like to change This is not Art Therapy although I have a Foundation Degree in Art Therapy. These sessions are designed as gentle and supportive ways of noticing where we are and where we would like to be.
Illuminated Lettering Workshop. Create your own illuminated letter at Bagshaw Museum with pen and ink. Take inspiration from nature in the museum grounds and learn how to design a beautiful illuminated letter in pen and ink – just like those found in historic storybooks and manuscripts. Perfect for your journal, sketchbook, or to frame at home. Suitable for beginners and those who are more experienced. Ages 12 upwards, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
